**Job Summary**

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities within the assembly line to ensure efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of products. This role involves managing a team of assembly operators, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Production Supervision**
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily assembly operations to meet production schedules and targets.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively.
- Ensure optimal line balance and minimize downtime.

**2. Quality Assurance**
- Ensure that all assembly work meets company quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address defects or process issues promptly.
- Work closely with the Quality Department to implement corrective and preventive actions.

**3. Team Management**
- Supervise, train, and motivate assembly operators to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct daily team briefings and communicate production plans and safety instructions.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of team members.

**4. Process Improvement**
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify areas for productivity enhancement and waste reduction.
- Support process optimization and equipment maintenance activities.

**5. Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine safety checks and promote a culture of safety among the team.

**6. Reporting & Coordination**
- Maintain daily production and performance records.
- Report deviations, delays, or issues to the Production Manager.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth workflow.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Education**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

**Experience**:

- 3-7 years of experience in an assembly or production supervisory role, preferably in the automotive, electronics, or manufacturing industry.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of assembly processes, production planning, and lean manufacturing.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and production reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time, on-site role.
- May require working in shifts depending on production schedule.

Pay: ₹9,718.52 - ₹40,000.00 per month
