We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Systems Administrator.

In this role, you will:

- Monitor and review the execution of the Configuration Management process at a high-level, ensure it remains consistent with the organization’s current culture and IT Service Management strategy and ensures coordination with all other IT processes
- Ensure that all relevant staff have the required technical and business understanding, knowledge and training in the process, and are aware of their role in the process
- Timely follow-up for information, including escalation per procedures
- Establish methods and accountability for ongoing measurement and analysis/reporting
- Establish accountability for taking action on reported results.
- Interact effectively and professionally with IT Service Owners, Project Managers and User Community through various Non-Functional Requirement, Checkpoint meetings etc. and deliver results as desired.
- Interact with Support Teams to gather relevant information to complete the job.
- To impart training to customers/ colleagues for managing tools as per the requirement. Necessary meetings need to be scheduled in order to complete the formalities for concerned admin and related tasks.
- Identification & reporting of gaps and opportunities.
- Identify new discovered services and manage them through their lifecycle. This includes but not limited to responsibilities as per the Governance Model, monitoring the Queue, resolving escalations, approving/working on the day to day tasks Identify opportunities for technology enhancement/upgrade where applicable.
- Perform various reporting and analysis based tasks to identify various Tool performances and their status.
- Safeguarding data and reducing risk. For highly restricted data: controlling access, monitoring and reporting access, encrypting data.
- Maintain process integrity and behavioral conduct as per IT/ HSBC policies.
- Assist with onboarding services in the Configuration Management System - reaching out to Service Owners to gather necessary information, modelling the relationships in online systems, raising exceptions/updating external repositories
- Run reports and create reports for adhoc requests from users.
- Create and document procedures to handle exceptions/failures from the nightly processing.
- Basic understanding of all internal/external data sources for the Configuration Management System
- Work on configuration projects to assist as needed with testing, documentation, training
- Collaborate with team colleagues across the project and BAU processes, to ensure there is standardization across each area for processes, data capture and maintenance
- Understand public cloud technology components, review and define data models in collaboration with Architects and SMEs to cover each CSP and component type
- Lead the building of Infrastructure IT Service Model designs, ensuring key components are connected in collaboration with Architects, SMEs and Engineering
- Define processes, controls, operating instructions and governance relating to Public Cloud components in the Infrastructure IT Service Models and the control framework
- Facilitate the build out of Public Cloud in to Infrastructure IT Service models, create updated training documentation and integrate in to the existing review process

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Must have knowledge about Service Management. Preferably Configuration Mgmt, Asset & Inventory Management and Change Management (E)
- Good analytical skills to review, map, interpret documents, and summarize reports(E)
- ITIL Foundation Certified (E)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (E)
- Knowledge on AGILE and Dev-Ops methodology (E)
- Flexible to work in shifts (E)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (E)
- Quick Learner, Team player and strong inter-personal/social skills to build and maintain, cordial relationship with users, peers and people at all levels (E)
