We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Systems Administrator.

In this role, you will:

- Provide the technical support within the agreed Service Levels
- Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, documentation Status communication and timely reporting.
- Work with regions for MIRs and SIPs
- Maintain support records such as incident resolutions
- Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in crisis calls as applicable.
- Proactively identify problem situations and resolve to give maximum customer satisfaction.
- Escalation used only where necessary, appropriate measures are taken to improve and sustain high quality and prevent recurrence.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem management skills.
- Should be excellent team member and work as a cross-functional team member and liaise with Vendors to resolve hardware issues.
- Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables and documentation.
- Ability to establish mutual expectations with Business Partners is required. Ensuring that the processes are adhered.
- Suggest process enhancement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Around 1-3 Years of experience in IBM i Administration.
- Good understanding of BRMS Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience and understanding on Third party software’s such as Connect Direct, IWS, CDC, iHA, Security, Power lock.
- IBM i Securities and Audit.
- Operating System (general), Ops Navigator, Basic Knowledge of CL Programming, HMC & TCP/IP.
- Knowledge/Experience in IBM i Performance Management.
- Third Party Tools: Power HA, Connect:DIRECT, OnDemand Report Archiving tool, iDoctor & PowerLock.
- Knowledge and experience of OS upgrades.
- Experience on various IBM i migrations projects.
- Should possess industry standard certifications for IBM i.
- Creation of Controllers and Display devices
- Creation of Printer devices and Remote Output queues
- Creation of Subsystems including Job queue and Routing entries
- Adding Communication and Workstation Entries
- Deleting obsolete configurations
- Performing system IPL
- Knowledge of iASP.
- Knowledge on iCluster and troubleshooting on errors
- Installing PTF’s (Program Temporary Fixes), License Keys and Software Licensed Programs
- Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities.
