**Team Overview**

This opportunity sits within Stonewain Systems (an EquiLend Company) proud creators of EquiLend Spire. Our product is a versatile securities finance platform that can be used as a full system or customized into modules, enabling us to adapt to our financial clients needs.

We are now looking for a System Administrator to join us in Pune. The team is working on engaging projects with some of the largest banks in the world, transforming the securities finance industry. **Role Responsibilities**
- Meets with all required stakeholders to assess and define system requirements
- Manage, install and administer Linux OS, OS security, DNS server, DHCP server, Package management, Apache Web Server, Apache tomcat, postfix, VPN, SFTP server, SSH & Linux server hardening, NFS server, server Firewall management, Kernel upgrades, Python, Perl and shell script
- Manage and administer Syslog servers, server performance, software and hardware issues
- Manage and administer monitoring tools (ex. Nagios, LogicMonitor, etc ), VMware virtualization, SAN & NAS storage
- Builds, patches, tests (check for compatibility issues) and deploys complex systems and platforms meeting stakeholder needs and specifications
- Performs complex storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations
- Documents complex procedures and troubleshoots procedures related to systems/networks, software and hardware
- Performs complex storage setup, software and OS system upgrades, data backup/migration, DR operations and track system licensing

**Required Skills**:

- 3+ years' of experience inSystem Administration. Bachelors / Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux, MySQL, RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Shell scripting, AWS Cloud, Jenkins, Ansible, Apache Tomcat, NFS, Apache Server, LDAP
- Previous experience administering VMware virtualization, SAN and NAS storage
- In-depth knowledge of implementing, managing and administering Linux OS, Storage hardware (ex. EMC, Pure Storage, Rubrik, etc.), file systems, system backups, network protocols
- Detailed knowledge of Linux and Unix shell scripting (ex. Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience implementing, managing and administering Oracle WebLogic and IBM MQ (Good to have)
