Blue Cypress is seeking a System IT Administrator to support users across its 11 subsidiaries (approximately 80 users total). This is a new role and will require someone that is comfortable working independently to understand the current infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement. About half of the subsidiaries are Microsoft O365 users, and the other half use Google Workspace. Blue Cypress is in the process of migrating all subsidiaries over to Microsoft O365. Each company will have its own domain housed under the Blue Cypress tenant. Blue Cypress is looking to standardize its processes for security monitoring and data management. The Systems IT Admin would be responsible for providing recommendations and implementing improvements to ensure all hardware and software systems are secure and properly maintained. Common tasks will include setting up new users in MSFT O365 as companies hire employees, helping users install, update, and manage software on devices, troubleshooting system issues as they arise, supporting users with data migration and backup as needed, and providing general instruction to new MSFT O365 users. Excellent communication is critical in this role. Many of our users are not technologically advanced. The System IT Admin must be able to promptly and patiently work with users to troubleshoot issues and provide personalized solutions.

**Job description**:

- Windows, Desktop & Server administration.
- Setting up new users and managing and maintaining file servers.
- Provide technical support for software issues users encounter.
- Data backup & restore.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve the helpdesk requests.
- Liaise with vendors & users for problem resolution.
- System troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work in night shift.
- Other tasks as assigned.
