Production Supervisor

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**

**Production Planning and Scheduling**: Collaborate with the production planning department to create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Ensure that the production targets are achievable and aligned with customer demands.

**Team Management**: Supervise and lead the production team, including machine operators, assemblers, and other workers. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure a productive and cohesive working environment.

**Quality Control**: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the manufacturing process. Conduct regular quality checks to identify and rectify any issues promptly.

**Safety Compliance**: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in the production area. Conduct safety training sessions, ensure the availability of personal protective equipment (PPE), and address any safety concerns immediately.

**Machine Maintenance**: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that all production machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition. Schedule preventive maintenance and address breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

**Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate the production process to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Implement process enhancements and best practices.

**Inventory Management**: Work closely with the materials and inventory department to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials for uninterrupted production while minimizing excess inventory.

**Reporting and Documentation**: Keep detailed records of production activities, including output, downtime, and any incidents. Prepare regular production reports and share them with management.

**Training and Development**: Identify skill gaps within the production team and arrange training sessions to enhance the capabilities of the workers.

**Problem-Solving**: Address production-related issues promptly and effectively. Analyze root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

**Communication**: Maintain open and clear communication channels with team members, other supervisors, and management. Foster effective communication to ensure a smooth flow of information.

**Environmental Compliance**: Ensure that the production processes adhere to all environmental regulations and company policies concerning waste management and emissions.

**Cost Control**: Work to optimize production costs without compromising on quality and safety standards.

**Lean Manufacturing Initiatives**: Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.

**Customer Focus**: Ensure that production meets customer specifications and delivery deadlines, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

As a Production Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in the success of the manufacturing company by effectively managing resources, optimizing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production cycle.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
