The Metaverse Street Journal is a startup that's the official Media Partner of the G20 under India's Presidency for Gaming in collaboration with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Indian Gaming Conclave and Gaming Show for G20 under India's Presidency.
Role Description
This is a Advertisement Sales Representative position on-site role for a Sales Role at The Metaverse Street Journal located in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR.
The Advertisement Sales Representative will be responsible for selling commercial advertisement space to advertisers from various industries and niche's.
Qualifications:
- Ability to spleak fluent English and Hindi is a MUST
- Other Languages are advantageous
- Ability to make cold calls do sales
- Proven ability to make sales calls and close sales
- Previous experience as a sales person on phone and selling ad space is a advantageous.
- Strong skills in Spoken English and Spoken Hindi
- Experience as a Commercial Advertisement sales representative in a news broadcaster
- A deep understanding of News and Media Business
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team of reporters, producers, and camera crew
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field in beneficial but NOT mandatory
- Previous experience in Commercial Advertisement sales for a news broadcaster as a Advertisement Sales Representative would be beneficial
- Knowledge of current events, politics, and social issues would be desired
