Position: - Sanding Machine Operator (COSTA)
Experience: - 3 - 5 years
Location: - Mumbai
Report to: - Head of Department
Roles & responsibilities:
- 1. Setting and operating sanding machine for smoothening and finishing wooden surfaces with sandpaper.
2. Selecting grade of sandpaper according to degree or smoothness and finishing required and fitting it on sanding drum.
3. Feeding plywood or article to be polished by feed belt against revolving sandpaper to get rubbed and smoothened.
4. Switching on exhaust fan of machine to collect dust during operation.

**Job Expectations**:

- 1. Knowledge of smoothening wooden articles on simpler machine by fixing them on machine platform not provided with automatic feed arrangement.
2. Knowledge of operating sanding machine
3. Knowledge of different kinds of sandpaper
4. Proficient in adjusting gap between feed belt and roller by observing index needle and starting the machine.
5. Well-versed in changing the grade of sandpaper till required smoothness is achieved.
6. Diligent and hardworking
7. Arm-hand steadiness
8. Ability to focus for long hours.
9. Ability to follow instructions.
10. Ability to work independently.

**Minimum Qualification**: Degree in relevant field

**Minimum Job Experience**: 3-5 years
