**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Urban Design Planning**: Develop innovative urban design concepts and master plans for public and private sector projects, with a focus on sustainable, human-centric environments.
- **Project Management**: Lead design phases of urban development projects, including site analysis, conceptual design, schematic development, and design documentation.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams (urban planners, architects, and landscape architects, engineers) to integrate urban design into larger development and planning projects.
- **Research & Analysis**: Conduct site analyses and environmental assessments to inform design solutions that address context, scale, and sustainability issues.
- **Design Presentation**: Prepare and present design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and public entities. Ensure that design concepts are visually compelling and backed by clear, rationale arguments.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure designs adhere to local zoning codes, environmental standards, and building regulations. Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes affecting urban development.
- **Community Engagement**: Facilitate community workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather input and feedback on design proposals, promoting public buy-in and community-driven design.
- **Sustainability Integration**: Incorporate sustainable practices, such as green infrastructure, renewable materials, and energy-efficient design, into urban design solutions.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design reports, drawings, and presentations that clearly articulate the vision and technical aspects of the design.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of professional experience in urban design, urban planning, or a related field with a proven portfolio of successful projects.
- **Software Proficiency**: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Rhino, GIS, and other design and modelling software. Familiarity with Revit and 3D rendering tools is a plus.
- **COA (Council of Architecture) License required**.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of urban design principles, sustainable design practices, and contemporary urban trends. Knowledge of zoning laws, urban planning policies, and environmental regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent conceptual and visual design abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- **Portfolio**: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of urban design projects, including public spaces, mixed-use developments, and transit-oriented designs.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
