Job Title: Assistant Manager - Truck and Bus Insurance Claims Department: Insurance/Claims Location: [City, State] Reporting to: Claims Manager / Senior Manager - Claims Job Purpose: To manage and process insurance claims related to commercial vehicles (trucks and buses), ensuring efficient and timely settlement while maintaining compliance with policy terms and regulatory guidelines. --- Key Responsibilities: Claims Management: Handle end-to-end processing of truck and bus insurance claims (OD/TP/TPPD/PA). Assess claim documentation, ensure accuracy, and verify compliance with policy terms. Liaise with surveyors, garages, legal teams, and third-party administrators for claim verification and processing. Customer Service: Provide timely updates to customers and partners on claim status. Resolve customer queries, complaints, or escalations effectively. Coordination and Networking: Coordinate with field surveyors for inspection reports. Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, repair centers, and fleet operators. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all claim documentation is complete and in line with IRDAI guidelines. Maintain accurate records and audit trails for future reference. MIS and Reporting: Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to claim settlements, TATs, pending cases, etc. Analyze claim trends and suggest improvements in processes. --- Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably commerce or insurance-related). Licentiate/Associate certification from III is a plus. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in handling commercial vehicle insurance claims, preferably in general insurance or a TPA. Skills: Good understanding of motor insurance products, claim processes, and IRDAI regulations. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and claim management systems. --- Preferred Attributes: Experience in fleet or commercial transport insurance is highly desirable. Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of claims. Detail-oriented with a customer-centric mindset.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
