**Job Position Summary**

Supervising/handling marine insurance claims and assisting the Head/Manager with projects assigned to

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Assist in compilation of claims, primarily H&M, P&I and FD&D claims under supervision.
- Assist with appointment of local correspondents/agents and follow-up on mitigation measures.
- Assist in managing claims related to corporate policies, personal insurances, and seafarers’ insurances, including claim issues thereof.
- Maintain updated list of contact points.
- Assist in dealing with day-to-day operational queries.
- Processing of invoices in a timely manner in relation to the claims.
- Assist in preparation of claims reports and statistics, and attending claims meeting as required.
- Undertaking any other duties as may be requested by the department Head.

**Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Law or Shipping Degree from a recognized Institute or University;
- Preferred 2 years’ experience in marine insurance
- Good understanding of marine insurance and practice;
- Competent language skills in English and Chinese (verbal and written), Mandarin will be an advantage;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
