**The team**:Network Planning at

IndiGo is tasked with designing and maintaining the most exciting and expansive

air transportation networks in India. As part of this team, you will interact

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/ Master’s in aviation

**Preferred Experience**
- 0-2 years’ experience in airline Network Planning/Scheduling/Revenue Management or any airline analytical field.
- Intermediate to advanced user of MS Excel.

**What you’ll do**
- **Schedule planning**:Monitor industry trends and leverage internal and

external traffic, profitability, demand data and come up with plans to improve

& optimize the existing network and work on designing & optimizing the

seasonal schedules.
- **Execution**:
Collaborate with several internal teams such as crew planning, engineering,

revenue management, Airport operations, marketing etc., to operationalize

schedules/new routes/changes/cancellations etc.
- **Publication & Distribution**:

- Publish & distribute the planned schedule with RMS (revenue management

system), and key stake holders within agreed timelines.
- Make sure that planned schedules are in-sync with all the down line systems

(eg., RMS and OCC).
- Disseminate the network plans to all down-line departments.
- **Optimization**:
Use Sabre’s Air Vision planning and scheduling software to

ensure that the planned network does not exceed the total available aircraft.

Regularly tweak the network by changing time, equipment, aircraft flying

patterns etc., to meet commercial and operational requirements such as

profitability, aircraft utilization, maximizing slot adherence & utilization,

aircraft parking bay compliance, local airport manpower and equipment usage,

accommodating airport closures and maximizing crew efficiency.
- **Code share management
- **working closely with code share partners to

leverage on partners’ network, managing the exchange of schedules among the

partners and distribute to the down line system.
- Work on ad-hoc projects as per requirement.

**Preferred Skills**
- Eager to solve complex problems, creative thinking and continuous improvement.
- Ability to multi-task on several scheduling projects and issues simultaneously.
- Advanced digital literacy: Experience in using Sabre Air Vision Planning and

scheduling tool or an equivalent planning/scheduling software.
- In-depth understanding of airline scheduling, crew planning requirements, maintenance and airport operations constraints.
- Ability to be discrete and handle confidential plans and data.
- Extremely detail oriented.
