
Clinical Audiologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Testing:
- Conduct thorough audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry,
tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response testing.
- Assess and diagnose hearing and balance disorders using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
- Hearing Aid Fitting and Management:
○ Select, fit, and program hearing aids and other assistive listening devices tailored to each patient’s needs.
○ Provide counseling on hearing aid use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
○ Conduct real-ear measurements and verify hearing aid performance.
- Auditory Rehabilitation:
○ Develop and implement auditory rehabilitation programs, including auditory training and speechreading.
○ Provide support and resources for patients to improve their communication skills and overall hearing health.
- Patient Counseling and Education:
○ Explain diagnostic test results and treatment options to patients and their families.
○ Offer counseling and education on hearing loss prevention, hearing conservation, and the impact of hearing loss
on quality of life.
○ Provide information on community resources and support groups.
- Balance and Vestibular Assessment:
○ Perform vestibular assessments to diagnose balance disorders.
○ Collaborate with physical therapists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
with balance issues.
- Collaboration and Referrals:
○ Work closely with otolaryngologists (ENT specialists), primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers to
ensure coordinated patient care.
○ Refer patients to other medical or rehabilitation professionals as needed.
- Clinical Documentation:
○ Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress.
○ Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in patient documentation and confidentiality.
- Need to perform diagnostic audiologic evaluation on adults and children.
- Perform PI functions and acoustics immittance.
- Fills all forms and sign test evaluation sheets.
- Perform and guide customers in setting hearing aid.
- Performs fittings, orientations and checks.
- Fit and dispense prospective clients with an appropriate make and model of hearing aid technology and product
based on their hearing loss situation.
- Guides customers in cleaning methods and usage of hearing aid.
- Performs regular follow up with customers and take their feedback.
- Select and administer the appropriate diagnostic procedures for each patient based on age and performance ability.
- Need to handle home visits & flexible to travel to other clinics locally as per the requirement.
- CRM, major reports updating & maintenance is the important duty of Clinical Audiologist
- Entry of Patient Details, Payment Transactions entry is the core responsibility of the Audiologist.
- Optimum maintenance of given equipment and accessories.
- Actively participating in camp and promotional related activities.
- Need to maintain assets and consumables records
- Optimising business growth.
- Consistently reaching of assign business targets.
- Maintenance of the Clinic is the core responsibility of the Audiology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Audiologist.
- Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders.
- Proficiency in using audiological diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Need to have good communication skills.
- Be empathetic to clients.
- Need to be update with technology and testing advances.
- Need to have and develop good customer care skills.
