**Job Description: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Battery Pack and BESS Container Manufacturing**

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**:

- Develop and execute the company’s technological vision and strategy for battery packs and BESS containers.
- Lead and manage the technology team, including engineers, scientists, and technical staff.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set strategic goals and align technological developments with business objectives.
- **Product Development**:

- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of battery packs and BESS containers.
- Ensure product innovation, reliability, and scalability to meet market demands.
- Drive the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions in energy storage.
- **Research and Development**:

- Lead R&D efforts to explore new materials, technologies, and methods to enhance battery performance and efficiency.
- Manage partnerships with research institutions, universities, and industry experts.
- **Manufacturing Excellence**:

- Optimize manufacturing processes for battery packs and BESS containers to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Project Management**:

- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage risks and solve technical challenges that arise during the product development lifecycle.
- **Technical Support and Customer Engagement**:

- Provide technical expertise and support to sales and marketing teams.
- Engage with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the company's products meet or exceed their expectations.
- **Innovation and Trends Monitoring**:

- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in energy storage and renewable energy.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the technology team and across the company.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy storage industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in battery pack design, BESS container development, and large-scale manufacturing.
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Deep knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology, energy storage systems, and related manufacturing processes.
- Experience with advanced battery management systems (BMS) and thermal management solutions.
- **Leadership Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse technical team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**:

- Strong analytical abilities to assess technological challenges and devise innovative solutions.
- Experience in managing complex projects and driving them to successful completion.
- **Other Skills**:

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for battery storage systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
