Job Description: Backend Testing Specialist with Strong SQL Skills

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Backend Testing Specialist with strong SQL skills to join our team. As a Backend Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our backend systems through rigorous testing and validation. Your role will involve designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for backend systems.
- Execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of backend APIs, services, and databases.
- Identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform data validation and verification to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Conduct load, stress, and performance testing to evaluate backend system performance under different conditions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools for backend testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
- Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection.
- Monitor and analyze backend system logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Provide regular status reports on testing progress and escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend testing and SQL.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in backend testing, including designing and executing test cases.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Solid understanding of backend technologies and concepts, including APIs, web services, and data structures.
- Experience with backend testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JUnit, etc.).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with security testing and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or database management are highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
