We are seeking a Functional & Database Tester to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional, regression, and database testing, with the ability to design and execute test cases, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with developers to deliver high-quality applications. Experience in Treasury and Trading applications is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing:

  • Design and execute test cases for various application functionalities.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Identify, document, and track functional defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
  • Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts.

Database Testing:

  • Design and execute test plans/test cases for database functionality, performance, and security.
  • Perform data validation, integrity checks, and consistency testing.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, document, and track database-related defects.
  • Collaborate with DBAs and developers to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated database test scripts.
  • Monitor database performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

General:

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and trends.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in functional and database testing.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL queries and database validation.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks for functional and database testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and defect tracking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Preferred: Experience with Treasury and Trading domain applications.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹100, ₹130,000.00 per month
