Db Tester

DB Tester (Data base Testing):

- Work-experience:

- 3 to 6 years

Any work experience as a Database Tester on relational databases RDBMS, familiar with at least one DataBase (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MYSQL, MongoDB, Sybase ASE, PostgreSQL etc.).
- Be proficient on SQL DDL and DML, Store Procedures, Jobs, Triggers etc..,
- Strong experience on writing SQL queries (Complex Queries) - Good exposure on Data Validation Cases/techniques
- Testing performing extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations.
- Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity using SQL scripts.
- Collaborating with BI and Data Engineers to ensure high quality Data Deliverable and maintain data standards.
- Design and develop testing frameworks to test ETL jobs, BI reports and Dashboards and other data pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies such as black-box testing, white-box testing, and regression testing.
- Understanding of data security: should have an understanding of data security principles and be able to identify potential vulnerabilities in the database.
- Ability to own troubleshooting and tuning on database performance issues. - Experience in Agile development process and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc.).

Good-to-have:

- Knowledge of Azure/AWS (Databricks)
- Python language hands-on
- Testing Framework Knowledge (Pytest /TestNG)
- Exposure to ETL Testing
- GITHUB Knowledge
- BI testing Experience (tableau Software)
- Medical databases maintenance and support experience.

Specific to Databricks tester we may include:

- Strong knowledge of Apache Spark or understanding of Spark is essential
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is necessary.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL optional - Java, Scala
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI.

Pay: ₹240,882.50 - ₹1,085,611.91 per year
