Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pega QA Engineer to validate Pega applications through structured functional, regression, and integration testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Pega workflows, rules, and integration mechanisms, along with strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively in agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements, system requirements, and Pega design documents to derive comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Pega features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Validate workflows, rules, UI behavior, decision tables, and case lifecycle within the Pega platform.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases using tools such as JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or qTest.
  • Participate actively in daily SCRUM meetings, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demo reviews.
  • Validate data integration with external systems via APIs, connectors, and services.
  • Collaborate closely with Pega developers and business analysts to analyze defects, verify fixes, and ensure end-to-end quality.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide necessary testing evidence and documentation.
  • Execute SQL queries for backend and data validation during test cycles.
  • Contribute to test automation initiatives using tools like Selenium, Pega Unit, or other relevant automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Pega testing experience (Pega 7.x / 8.x or later).
  • Solid understanding of Pega application structure, case management, decisioning, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong skills in defect management and traceability across multiple releases.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools and SQL for backend validation.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience in Pega Unit testing or test automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
  • ISTQB or similar software testing certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹4,000, ₹6,000,000.00 per month
