**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Underwriting of risks under various property products (Fire, Engineering, Property, Liability, Health and Misc. products).
- Getting Best Quotes from the insurers
- Reviewing of RFQ, managing quotes and approvals and preparing RFQ based on the requirement and sending to insurer
- Understanding the requirement of client from Client servicing / sales team
- Checking the data collected from client and Ensuring proper / complete quotes
- Preparing comparative of quotes for different insurers and covers
- Finalizing the quotation after discussion with Client servicing / sales team by coordinating with insurers
- Coordinating with all the Intermediaries, Brokers, Agents, and Channel Partners & Marketing Associates/Business
- Handling the grievance from all the internal & external customers & give them a satisfactory solution in liaison with other department as well as Head office
- Maintaining good working relationship with insurers
- Preparation of RFQ, QCR and Quote Formats for GI Products Marine, Fire & Burglary, Workmen Compensation, Public Liability, D & O, GMC, GPA, Motor, Cyber risk, Credit Insurance, Engineering.
- To understand the risk being dealt/proposed to be insured by Corporate Clients in entirety (mainly Fire, Engineering, Marine, Liability, Group Insurance) which would include understanding nature of business of the client, existing insurance coverage, claim experience and any other aspect which can help in securing good feature discount.
- Preparing Gap Analysis for the New Customers based on existing policies procured by them i.e. Examining existing insurance covers and evaluating the risks not covered or required to be omitted for prudential reasons or any other deficiency like inadequacy of sum assured.
- Preparation and submission of Audit Report on Existing policies pinpointing weaknesses in existing policies/coverages.
- Seeking required information from clients for submission to various insurers.
- Preparation of our own quotations along with the terms or clauses or excess or deductible and insisting for acceptance by selected insurers or seeking quotations from insurers (this would be key task).
- Reverting to clients on all queries concerning quotations by coordinating with insurance companies wherever required.
- Securing draft policy bond wherever required for information of client.
- Checking the actual bond received with the terms of placing the business and getting corrections made if any.
- Keeping track of the market /competition to know the insurers offering most aggressive rates and best terms.
- Keeping updated about non-conventional products like Liability, Credit Insurance etc. and helping by providing PPT or write up to marketing team
- Maintaining systematic record of quotations and analyzing reasons of failure for cases where the business was not placed through us
- Developing and /or securing various underwriting calculators which help underwriting department or marketing employees to calculate the premium with ease.

**Desired Skills**:

- Excellent Communication skills in English and Hindi
- 2-5 years of experience in underwriting for Corporate Insurance
- Any Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
