As a Student Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting students in their academic and personal growth journey.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide expert counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their academic and career paths.

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their individual needs, aspirations, and challenges.

Offer insights and recommendations on suitable courses, programs, and career opportunities based on each student's interests and abilities.

Stay updated with educational trends, university admissions, scholarship opportunities, and other relevant information to deliver accurate and up-to-date advice to students.

Assist students in overcoming challenges, such as time management, stress, and study-related issues, by providing personalized support and resources.

Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to create workshops, seminars, and training sessions that enhance students' personal and academic development.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages open communication and trust between students and the counseling team.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, ensuring that they are on track with their academic goals and aspirations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Student Counselor or in a similar counseling role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide practical solutions to student-related challenges.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using counseling software and digital communication tools.
- Empathetic, patient, and able to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
