Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling:
Provide one-on-one counseling to students to understand their educational goals, academic challenges, and personal aspirations.

Help students navigate academic challenges, personal issues, and stress related to education.

Academic and Career Guidance:
Assist students in selecting suitable educational programs or courses based on their interests, aptitude, and career goals.

Advise students on career options, entrance exams, and potential career paths.

Parental Communication:
Regularly update parents about their child's academic progress, behavior, and any areas of concern.

Conduct parent-teacher meetings and workshops to engage parents in the academic development of their children.

Group Counseling and Workshops:
Conduct group sessions and workshops on study skills, time management, career exploration, exam preparation, stress management, and other relevant topics.

Organize seminars or sessions for students on various aspects of personal development and academic success.

Student Support Services:
Collaborate with faculty and staff to monitor students' academic performance and identify those who may need additional support.

Help students build effective study habits and strategies to improve their performance.

Data Management:
Maintain records of student counseling sessions, including their academic progress, goals, and action plans.

Prepare reports on student feedback and counseling effectiveness for management review.

Qualifications:
**Education**:
A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.

Certification or training in counseling (preferably academic or career counseling) will be a plus.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counseling or a related role within the education industry.

Experience in providing career and academic guidance to students.

**Skills**:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and faculty.

Strong understanding of student development, academic programs, and career options.

Ability to provide emotional support and handle sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.

Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and appointments.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and counseling software.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with college admission processes, entrance exams, and scholarship programs.

Understanding of student behavioral issues and mental health awareness.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

**Salary**:
₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
