**What you will be doing at Evalueserve**:

- Work as an SME to design, architect, and develop new solutions for multiple accounts and clients.
- Serve as a technology consultant by providing valuable data insights to customer and help them improve their business effectiveness.
- Build best-in-class data engineering solutions for multiple accounts and clients.
- Be part of innovative culture that drives results and positively impacts customer business.
- Over 5 years of experience with Teradata data warehouse implementation and ETL pipeline development
- Troubleshooting of Data Stage jobs and addressing production issues like performance tuning and enhancement
- Good to have knowledge of Quality Stage
- Experience in identifying vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, adopting best practice guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Hands-on experience in Teradata utilities such as Fast Load, Multi Load, BTEQ, and TPT
- Experienced in development testing and deployment, coding standards, and best practices.
- Experience in preparing technical design documentation.
- Experience in data quality management and best practices across data solution implementations.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering - with working exposure in Banking Domain is an added advantage.
- Strong technical skills in IBM DataStage, Teradata, Unix Shell scripting, SQL (Teradata/ Hadoop) and ControlM scheduling tools.
- Good understanding of Banking / Financial industry experience.
- Design and develop complex cloud-based data solutions for streaming and batch data processing.
- Lead a team of data engineers through technical solution, best practices, and guidelines.
- Perform data analysis, design ETL architecture and data modelling, and implement robust data pipelines.
- Work on proof of concepts projects / data prototype development in the data solutions domain.
- interact with customers to understand their business problems and provide best - in-class data solutions.
- Develop an impeccable engineering and organizational practice through different software development practices.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values.
- Manage client expectations. - Provide technical consulting inputs to multiple projects / accounts.
- Experience in building and implementation of EDW and Datalake using any of the cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
- Experience in batch processing/real time implementations using Python/Scala, Sqoop, Kafka, Hadoop, spark, Hive etc.
