As the **Restaurant Captain**, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high standard of quality. You will lead and mentor the front-of-house team, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Service Team**: Supervise, train, and support restaurant servers, hosts, and other dining room staff. Ensure all staff adhere to service standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
- **Guest Interaction**: Greet guests as they arrive, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure that guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience. Resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- **Menu Knowledge**: Ensure a strong knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials, and communicate them effectively to guests. Assist guests with menu selections and wine pairings when appropriate.
- **Order Management**: Oversee order-taking, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and high-quality presentation. Coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Ensure that the restaurant environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Oversee the setup and breakdown of the dining room before and after service.
- **Monitor Service Flow**: Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently by managing timing, pacing, and coordination during meal service. Help with shifting tasks to meet the needs of the team and guests.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies to ensure stock levels are sufficient for service.
- **Staff Training & Development**: Conduct training sessions for new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, service standards, and safety guidelines.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Ensure that health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards, are strictly followed at all times.
- **Upsell & Enhance Guest Experience**: Actively suggest and upsell menu items and wine pairings, enhancing the dining experience and driving sales.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including fine dining etiquette.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality management is a plus.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
