**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of the API manufacturing plant's operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and personnel management.
- Ensure the plant runs efficiently and effectively, with an emphasis on quality control and safety.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
- Work with other departments, such as Warehousing and Inventory Management, quality control, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure smooth plant operations and timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and mentor staff to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Participate in senior management meetings, providing inputs and updates on plant operations contributing to the development of company strategy.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 20 years of experience in API manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in plant management.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP guidelines, FDA regulations, and other regulatory requirements related to API manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Conversant with SAP PP and MM modules

**Experience Preferred**:

- Experience with SAP
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment
- Experience with GC sample preparation and testing
- Knowledge of CFR & ICH Regulatory Guidelines
- Knowledge of cGMP processes and lab safety
