- **Documentation and Reporting**:Maintaining accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and inventory levels.
- **Cost Analysis**:Analyzing purchase costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Required Skills and Experience:

- **Bachelor's degree**: In a related field like business administration, supply chain management, or a science-related field (biology, chemistry, or biochemistry).
- **Experience**: Prior experience in purchasing or procurement, particularly within the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry, is often preferred, says a job posting on Teal.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams.
