**About Dasra’s Approach to Climate Action**:

- Climate Change is the defining crisis of the 21st century, and its impact cuts across almost all sectors and therefore requires a shift across knowledge and action. Dasra’s vision for climate action is focused on addressing the challenge of climate through a systems-change approach with an intersectional lens. Our work aims to create a multi-stakeholder platform, to build knowledge, consensus, and narratives towards impacting long-term climate action for the most vulnerable and underserved communities.
- We believe that collaboration and consensus among multiple stakeholders including civil society, think tanks, government, and philanthropists in climate will offer us the opportunity to drive deeper impact by leveraging collective resources, wider networks, and more diverse skill sets across sectors and inform key climate action initiatives in India.
- To this effect, Dasra incepted the ClimateRISE Alliance a collaborative platform that aims to build knowledge, consensus, and common outcomes with civil society organizations working at the intersections of climate action and resilience for the most vulnerable communities. The Alliance’s objective is to shape an India view, a common vocabulary, and enable a multi-stakeholder engagement approach to climate action in the country.

**Key Responsibilities/Skill-sets Required**:

- ** Strategy Development and Implementation**: Support the alliance in building specific thematic focus areas through strategy development, new project creation, and direct and indirect stakeholder engagement.
- ** Project Management**: Lead and assist in delivering multiple projects for the Alliance, ensuring all initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- ** Opportunity Identification**: Proactively map sectoral trends and partner needs, identifying and developing innovative project opportunities that align with the alliance's strategic objectives and emerging climate challenges.
- E**nd-to-end Convening Design and Management**: Execute, co-facilitate, and manage logistics for planned program sessions, including workshops, trainings, and panels.
- S**takeholder Management**: Build and nurture relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including government entities, technical partners, academic institutes, and field-level implementers
- ** Research and Writing**: Conduct primary and secondary research on climate change and its intersections with other development areas (urban systems, health, gender, conservation, agriculture, etc.); create mappings, presentations, reports, and dashboards. Support research and knowledge-building efforts within the alliance through comprehensive research reports and knowledge products.
- ** Don**or Management**: Maintain a comprehensive pipeline management system to track progress on relationships with various funders.
- ** Other Responsibilities**: Provide support to other thematic areas and groups within the ClimateRISE Alliance.
