**About Dasra’s Approach to Climate Action**:

- Climate Change is the defining crisis of the 21st century, and its impact cuts across almost all sectors and therefore requires a shift across knowledge and action. Dasra’s vision for climate action is focused on addressing the challenge of climate through a systems-change approach with an intersectional lens. Our work aims to create a multi-stakeholder platform, to build knowledge, consensus, and narratives towards impacting long-term climate action for the most vulnerable and underserved communities.
- We believe that collaboration and consensus among multiple stakeholders including civil society, think tanks, government, and philanthropists in climate will offer us the opportunity to drive deeper impact by leveraging collective resources, wider networks, and more diverse skill sets across sectors and inform key climate action initiatives in India.

To this effect, Dasra incepted the ClimateRISE Alliance a collaborative platform that aims to build
- knowledge, consensus, and common outcomes with civil society organizations working at the
- intersections of climate action and resilience for the most vulnerable communities. The Alliance’s
- objective is to shape an India view, a common vocabulary, and enable a multi-stakeholder engagement approach to climate action in the country.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support to further build the Sustainable Cities and Service Delivery thematic focus area of the alliance by undertaking strategy development, plans, and procedures, and direct and indirect engagement with various stakeholders
- Project Management: Lead and assist in multiple projects for the Alliance, ensuring that all initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Execute, co-facilitate and manage end-to-end logistics for planned program sessions such as workshops, trainings, and panels
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture relationships with external/internal stakeholders like the government, technical partners, academic institutes, and field-level implementers
- Research and Writing: Conduct primary and secondary research of the urban sector in new geographies; create mappings, decks, reports, dashboards, etc. Support research and knowledge building efforts within the alliance through research reports, knowledge products, and other collaterals
- Leverage the work of alliance member organizations, funders, and civil society groups to enable smooth functioning and working of the alliance and ensure delivery management
- Maintain a comprehensive pipeline management system to track progress on relationships built with different funders
- Support in organizing conferences and building platforms aimed at educating and engaging with the sector; co-facilitate sessions, and manage end-to-end logistics for these programs
- Provide support to other thematic areas and groups within the ClimateRISE Alliance

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Graduates and Postgraduates with 3 - 5 years of work experience, preferably in the climate, sustainable and resilient cities, urban planning ecosystem in India
