**JOB TITLE: Project Expert (f/m/d)**

**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

The Technology & Innovation (T&I) board area is responsible for SAP Business Technology Platform - the platform for the Intelligent Enterprise that includes technologies like SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics, and Intelligent Technologies. The T&I board area is also in charge of SAP’s global innovation agenda and builds new business model
- and market driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value.
Our T&I Cloud Operations team, with locations in Bengaluru, Sofia, Walldorf, Berlin and Vancouver, is responsible for the operations of all SAP Business Technology Platform cloud services delivered to our internal and external customers. We ensure the 7/24 System Monitoring, Incident management, drive improvements via our problem management process, create transparency via our reports, meetings and communication channels and support development teams with coordination on change management and cloud operation compliance topics. We work very close with all T&I product development teams according to the DevOps principles and have set up our team in the SRE mode. On SAP level we drive and align process and tool improvements together with other cloud operation teams and all central teams.

For our T&I Cloud Operations team in Bengaluru, we are looking for Project Expert / Delivery Manager

You will work in our Cloud Engineering Team and proactively drive automation, continuous improvement of productive landscapes, coordinate incident management across the layers and development teams. We are looking for energetic result oriented, solution engineers with broad technical knowledge around PaaS (Platform), SaaS (Services), Infrastructure (IaaS) to develop and/or enhance critical components and Tools. In development, automation would be expected that enable efficient day-to-day Cloud Operations.
Play a significant role in the team to provide, protect and improve the software and systems behind productive services of SAP Busines Technology Platform with an ever-watchful eye on their availability, performance, and capacity.

**Role Requirements**
- Support the implementation, to lead and maintain a good level of status of projects and programs
- Participate in the strategy, planning and implementation for organizational goals
- Represent TICO as a global organization in global SAP projects
- Manage global projects, execution and delivery.
- Drive escalations, resolve conflicts and stakeholder management.
- Drive innovation and improvements of solution areas around service resilience and cloud operations.
- Other tasks related to the development of the organization
- Ability to create exceptional results in a multicultural and multinational environment and to manage topics cross location and cross team, building an effective network to improve the way we operate the cloud solutions together with our product development teams.
- Create an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Engage with development /engineering teams to drive improvements, achieve enhancements to architecture, tools and enhance current solutions.
- Very good understanding of SAP’s development and cloud operations processes.
- Solid background and experience with a cloud product either in development or operations.
- Strong customer focus, very good communication and presentation skills.

**Preferred skills**
- Leadership experience via previous lead or management role.
- Excellent Project management skills along with good Product management experience.
- Good experience with exclusive focus on technical and/or management strategy.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Fresh ideas and innovative thinking with a “Can-do” attitude and thinking outside the box.
- Strong background in ITIL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SAP Business Technology Platform operation experience is welcome
- Experience with creation & implementation challenges of standardization and/or process standards
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under time pressure.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking and Security and with 10+ years of experience required.

**Preferred skills**
- ITIL Foundation Certificate is a plus.
- PMP Certification.

**EXPERIENCE**
- 9+ years of hands-on technical experience with working on large scale cloud operations
- Hands-on experience working with hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Good experience in designing and developing cloud operation tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working with globally distributed teams
- Experience leading complex projects and technical programming skills
