AUTOCAL ENGINEERS is looking for Quality Supervisor: to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Oversee the entire quality management system and monitor its effectiveness
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to establish quality metrics and performance targets
- Train and educate employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancement initiatives
- Investigate customer complaints or quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality tests, inspections, and audits
- Ensure that all quality-related records are properly maintained and available for review
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements for incoming materials and components
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality management
- Lead and motivate the quality control team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Prepare regular reports on quality performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending actions
- Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement
- Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality management, engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and foster a culture of quality consciousness
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools
- Certification in quality management (eg, Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus
