Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations, ensuring efficient processing, cleanliness, and quality of linen and garments. The ideal candidate will supervise the laundry team, maintain hygiene and equipment standards, and ensure timely delivery of laundered items to the respective departments or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing.
  • Allocate work schedules and assign tasks to laundry attendants.
  • Inspect laundered items for quality and ensure adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, damages, and laundry production reports.
  • Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of laundry machines and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, and other supplies.
  • Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance departments for smooth operations.
  • Train and guide laundry staff on safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor energy and water usage, promoting cost-efficient operations.
  • Handle guest or department laundry requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel, hospital, or facility management environment.
  • Strong understanding of different fabrics, detergents, and stain removal techniques.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment maintenance and safety standards.

Education:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Housekeeping, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification in Laundry Operations or Facility Management is an advantage.
