**JD of Vice Principal**

**Job Summary**:
The Vice Principal is a key member of the school’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day educational operations, managing staff, implementing academic programs, and ensuring a positive learning environment. The Vice Principal will collaborate with faculty, parents, and students to enhance the educational experience and achieve the school's mission and goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Educational Operations**:

- Oversee the implementation of the school’s educational programs and curriculum.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal educational regulations and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies to support diverse learning needs.

**2. Staff Management**:

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching and administrative staff.
- Provide guidance and support to staff to foster professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts as they arise.

**3. Academic Programs**:

- **Work closely with department heads to develop and refine academic programs.
- Implement new teaching strategies and educational technologies to enhance student learning.
- Coordinate extracurricular activities and special programs to support holistic student development.

**4. Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with the Principal and other school leaders on strategic planning and school improvement initiatives.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student achievement and address concerns.

**5. Administrative Duties**:

- Assist principal for daily routine admin work and allotment of resources.
- Oversee the scheduling of classes, exams, and other academic events.
- Maintain accurate records related to student performance, staff development, and other key areas.

**6. Professional Development**:

- Stay current with educational trends, research, and best practices.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance leadership skills.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Educational Leadership, Staff Management, and Academic Program Implementation skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in administration, HOD or as Vice Principal
- Knowledge of educational regulations and standards
- Master's degree with B.ed
- Previous experience in a leadership role in an educational setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, parents, and students
