**DESIGNATION**: PostgreSQL DBA

**JOB SUMMARY**

Roles & Responsibilities

Support several Open-Source technologies, including PostgreSQL, MySQL. Install, configure, upgrade and patch for Postgresql and other open-source databases.
- Plan, develop and implement processes and procedures for database backup and recovery.
- Take care of the Database design and implementation, including Patch Management and Version Control. Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
- Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
- Analyze potential impact of problem resolution and take corrective measures when needed.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience working on any public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP) is preferred.

**QUALIFICATION**

Graduate

**SKILLS**
- Worked on Oracle as well and open to learn mysql, mongo etc
- Experience on Postgres and Oracle Replication.
- Aware of Postgres Parameters.
- Worked on Upgradation.
- Design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/ SQL programming, catalog navigation, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc.
- Having cloud AWS experience.
