Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Maintain and monitor all hardware, software, and network systems to ensure uninterrupted service. Perform regular backups, updates, and troubleshooting for diagnostic systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting issues related to diagnostic equipment, computers, and other IT resources.
- Network Management: Oversee network configurations and ensure seamless operation of wired and wireless networks. Manage firewalls, routers, and other networking equipment.
- Data Security & Compliance: Ensure that the center’s IT systems comply with healthcare regulations (such as HIPAA or local data protection laws). Implement strong cybersecurity measures to safeguard patient and business data.
- Equipment Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, diagnostic devices, servers, and printers used within the center.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training to new and existing staff on IT-related tools and protocols. Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
- Project Management: Lead or assist in the deployment of IT-related projects, such as system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, or software installations.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors for hardware/software procurement and support, ensuring timely issue resolution.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostics environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, diagnostic equipment, and software.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server management, and security practices.
- Experience with database management and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT compliance standards (HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.
