**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for leading the service team to deliver a high-quality dining experience. They ensure smooth operations in the dining area, guide and assist waitstaff, and ensure that guests receive exceptional service. The Captain acts as the primary point of contact between the guests and the service team, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Service & Satisfaction**:

- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they are seated promptly.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, recommend food and beverage options, and answer any customer inquiries.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and checking in regularly during the meal.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and assist the service team, including waiters and runners, to ensure efficient and professional service.
- Train new staff and ensure they adhere to service standards and restaurant policies.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of food and that special requests are communicated clearly.
- **Operational Efficiency**:

- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-prepared for each service period.
- Oversee the setup and arrangement of tables, ensuring everything is in line with restaurant standards.
- Monitor the flow of service, making adjustments to improve efficiency and guest experience.
- **Order Management**:

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely input into the point of sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure that orders are prepared to the guests' satisfaction.
- Ensure special dietary needs or allergies are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
- **Sales & Upselling**:

- Recommend menu items, daily specials, and beverage pairings to enhance guest dining experiences.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to increase revenue through food and beverage sales.
- Encourage guests to explore dessert or after-dinner drinks.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation and portion sizes before serving to guests.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the dining area, table settings, and utensils to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Ensure that all guests' needs are met promptly and that the overall dining experience exceeds expectations.
- **End-of-Shift Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the closing of the dining area, ensuring that all tables, linens, and silverware are properly cleaned and stored.
- Ensure that any guest feedback is recorded and reported to management.
- Assist in preparing daily service reports and logging any operational issues.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- **Experience**: At least 2-3 years of experience as a waiter or in a supervisory role within a fine-dining or high-end restaurant.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a high-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
