
Tender Executive

A Tender Executive is responsible for managing the entire tender process, including identifying potential opportunities, analyzing tender requirements, coordinating with internal teams to prepare comprehensive proposals, ensuring compliance with submission guidelines, and following up on the status of submitted bids, aiming to secure new contracts for their organization by presenting competitive and well-structured tenders.
**Key responsibilities of a Tender Executive**:
- **Identifying and sourcing tenders**:Actively search for relevant tender opportunities on online platforms, government portals, industry publications, and through networking to identify potential business leads
- **Tender analysis**:Thoroughly review tender documents to understand client requirements, technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and deadlines.
- **Internal coordination**:Collaborate with different departments within the company (sales, marketing, technical teams) to gather necessary information, pricing, and technical details for the tender response.
- **Proposal development**:Prepare comprehensive tender proposals, including technical and commercial sections, ensuring compliance with all tender guidelines and highlighting the company's strengths and capabilities.
- **Costing and pricing strategy**:Develop a competitive pricing strategy for the tender based on market analysis, cost calculations, and profit margins.
- **Document preparation**:Compile and format all necessary tender documents, including technical specifications, qualifications, certifications, and supporting documentation.
- **Submission and follow-up**:Submit tenders on time through designated online portals or physical submission, and actively follow up on the status of submissions with the client.
- **Tender evaluation and debriefing**:Analyze feedback received from unsuccessful bids to identify areas for improvement and enhance future tender submissions.
- **Maintaining compliance**:Ensure all tender submissions adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
