Job Title: Product Development & Marketing
Overview:
Responsible for driving product development, strategic marketing, and managing cross
- functional collaboration to deliver innovative products that align with market needs and business
goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and execute product strategy, including product, module, and sub-module
roadmaps.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Drive product strategy through market research, competitor analysis, policy evaluation,
and feasibility assessments.
- Work closely with Product Development (PD) teams at HQ, to align product vision,
resolve issues, and provide effective solutions.
2. Market Positioning & Product Launches:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define market positioning, conduct market sizing,
and plan product promotions.
- Design and implement product launches, using pre-launch surveys and feedback.
- Identify new product opportunities for biannual and annual launches, addressing gaps in
the product line.
- Propose discontinuation of underperforming products to optimize product shelf life.
- Regularly evaluate new product performance and provide insights through management
reports.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop annual product-wise budgets in collaboration with PD and management teams.
- Forecast new product requirements for the upcoming financial year.
4. Market Intelligence & Analysis:
- Generate market intelligence reports and conduct in-depth competitive analysis.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management for product roadmap definition.
- Participate in industry events and exhibitions to gather market data and strengthen the
marketing effort.
- Prepare MIS reports covering competitor analysis and market trends.
5. Product Line Support:
- Act as the main communicator for product line positioning, both internally and externally.
- Train and support sales and customer service teams on product positioning.
- Develop standardized sales & product presentations, proposals, and scripts to support
sales efforts.
- Analyze product-wise performance to identify areas for improvement and corrective
actions.
6. Technical Product Development:
- Lead and supervise product development activities with Vendors, HQ, Managers,
ensuring alignment with timelines and project scope.
- Engage in troubleshooting with teams to resolve feasibility, sensory, and other technical
challenges.
- Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers for product innovation.
- Oversee product evaluations to ensure alignment with consumer preferences.
7. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure label claims meet product specification targets and comply with regulatory
requirements.
- Create and coordinate labels/artwork, ensuring compliance with labeling regulations.
- Review artwork to verify accuracy of technical aspects, such as ingredient levels and
allergen information in Consumables.
8. Future Business Development:
- Build and strengthen internal relationships through collaborative discussions.
- Foster relationships with manufacturers and raw material suppliers for ongoing and
future projects.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of sales, marketing, and product development, particularly in
MLM, retail, distribution, and institutional sales.
- Strong knowledge of market research, product marketing, and brand management.
- Experience in managing technical aspects of product development and working closely
with R&D teams.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
