The production bearing bridges job involves the manufacturing and assembly of bearing components used in bridges. Bearing bridges are essential structural elements that support the weight of the bridge and allow for movement due to thermal expansion, wind, and traffic loads. As a production worker in this field, your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, assemble, and quality-check the bearing components that ensure the safe and efficient operation of bridges.

Design and Engineering: Bridge engineers and designers create detailed plans and specifications for the bridge, including the bearing system. This involves selecting appropriate bearing types, sizes, and configurations based on the specific requirements of the bridge.

Material Procurement: The production process begins with the procurement of the necessary materials, such as steel plates, elastomeric pads, sliding systems, and other components required for the bearing assembly.

Fabrication: Skilled workers use specialized machinery, tools, and techniques to fabricate the bearing components according to the design specifications. This can include cutting, shaping, and welding steel plates, casting or molding elastomeric pads, and preparing sliding surfaces.

Assembly: The fabricated components are assembled to create the complete bearing system. This typically involves attaching the steel plates and bearing elements together, incorporating elastomeric pads or other load-distributing materials, and integrating sliding systems to facilitate bridge movements.

Quality Control: Throughout the production process, quality control measures are implemented to ensure that the bearing components meet the required standards and specifications. Inspections, testing, and measurements are performed to verify dimensional accuracy, material properties, and functionality of the bearing system.

Installation: Once the bearing components are produced and quality-checked, they are transported to the construction site for installation. Qualified bridge construction teams install the bearing systems as per the bridge design and specifications

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in production management or project management are advantageous.
- Must have 5+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the production of bridge components or similar heavy infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and equipment used in the fabrication and assembly of bridge bearing components.
- Familiarity with quality control principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve production-related issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in using production management software, tools, and systems.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
