We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator who is responsible for the development, performance, integrity, and security of database systems. The main duties include maintaining adherence to a data management policy and improving the overall efficiency of a company's database framework.

**Responsibilities**
- Installation of RDBMS software and creation of Oracle databases on windows/Linux platform
- Good knowledge of PL/SQL and exp-imp data pump utility.
- Creating users, allocation to appropriate table space, as with necessary privileges and roles for all databases.
- Monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, security, user maintenance, reporting, migrations, upgrades, data copying, etc.
- Disaster recovery and database restoration
- Experience with at least one of PostgreSQL, MS-SQL and MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments, preferably Azure and AWS
- Data warehouse experience
- Database performance tuning and configuring stats pack report.
- Work with Engineering teams to address concerns and maintain database standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- 6-9 years’ experience of implementing database solutions.
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Good understanding of relational data modeling
- Familiarity with data replication using ADG and Oracle Goldengate
- Monitor and maintain system health and security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Python, Bash shell scripting, and SQL.
- Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles.
- Multiple years of experience with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
- Experience in cloud native technologies and patterns (AWS, Google Cloud)
