**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute migrations of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server databases to AWS and Azure
- Utilize cloud native services/Tools (e.g. AWS DMS) and open source tools, develop custom tools for large-scale data migrations.
- Design and implement database migrations with mínimal downtime and data integrity checks.
- Perform database performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of AWS/Azure cloud migration experience
- Proficiency in Oracle, Postgres and MS SQL Server DBA tasks.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture and automation tools.
- Expert in terraform.
- AWS/Azure certification preferred.
