**About Us**:
**Role and responsibility**:

- **Lead the end-to-end migration process from Oracle to PostgreSQL.**:

- **Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration requirements and design efficient database structures.**:

- **Execute data migration tasks with precision and mínimal downtime.**:

- **Manage day-to-day operations of both Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.**:

- **Implement and enforce best practices for database security, availability, and performance.**:

- **Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure optimal database health.**:

- **Work collaboratively with the Sr. Database Administrator team to address operational issues and escalations.**:

- **Provide technical guidance and support for complex problem resolution.**:

- **Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24×7 operational support.**:

- **Create and maintain detailed documentation for migration processes, configurations, and operational procedures.**:

- **Train and mentor team members on database administration and migration tasks.**:

- **Monitor database performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations.**:

- **Collaborate with the team to develop proactive monitoring solutions for both Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.**:
**Experience**:

- **Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator.**:

- **Proven track record of successfully migrating databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL.**:

- **Extensive experience in Primary PostgreSQL database administration along with secondary as Oracle.**:

- **Proficiency in SQL scripting, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.**:

- **Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.**:

- **Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions is advantageous.**:

- **Demonstrated ability to work in a 24×7 operational environment.**:

- **Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and handle escalations.**:

- **Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.**:

- **Capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.**:
