**Postgres DB | 3 to 6 Years | Remote | Work Timings: Standard IST**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support business logic.
- Monitor database performance, tune queries, and optimize indexing and schema design.
- Ensure data integrity and implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Manage user access and roles based on security best practices.
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data models, configurations, and procedures.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 3-6 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and performance tuning.
- Experience with PostgreSQL tools (pgAdmin, psql, etc.).
- Understanding of database design concepts, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with data migration, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

**Preferred (Good to Have)**:

- Experience with cloud-based PostgreSQL (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of other databases like MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
