MS SQL DBA

MS SQL DBA profile with following roles & Responsibilities as Per MIS.

Software installation and maintenance ( Mostly Database configurations)
Implement and manage database backup strategies, ensuring data recovery and disaster recovery plans are in place.
Perform regular backup testing, restore processes, and verification of data integrity.
Monitoring performance( Based on Performance enhancement of PROD Server/Space issue/Slowness)
Data handling
Log shipping configuration and management in SQL Instances.
Basic SQL script ex: table alters,updates and data loads from base to Target tables.
Assigning roles, Permission to folder(read/write) and user creation on SQL SERVER based on MIS tickets.
Server hardening and patching activities
Schedule and perform routine database maintenance tasks, including index rebuilding, statistics updates, and database shrinking.
Manage and monitor disk space, logs, and database growth.
