**Job Title: Indian Cuisine Commis I**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Indian Cuisine Commis I to join our culinary team. As a Commis I, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality Indian dishes, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients
- Learn and execute traditional Indian recipes and cooking techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to presentation standards
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve kitchen goals
- Participate in menu planning and development
- Develop knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and ingredients
- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and waste

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Indian cuisine
- Basic knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 25 kg and stand for long periods
- Food Safety Certification an asset
