Job Title: Continental Commis I Chef

About Us:
We are a Peninsula Redpine Hotel seeking a skilled and experienced Continental Commis I Chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis I Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, and collaborating with other chefs to ensure seamless service.

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and present high-quality dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards, adhering to HACCP guidelines
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service, including menu planning, food preparation, and plating
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall kitchen performance
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Participate in daily kitchen operations meetings to review menu planning, food preparation, and service

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience as a Commis I Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Continental cuisine
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office

Working Hours:

- Rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Overtime may be required during peak periods

**Salary**:

- Competitive salary range: ₹18,000 - ₹22,000 per month
- Benefits: Meal allowance, uniform, and opportunities for career growth and development

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
