**Job Title**: Marketing Executive - Journal Subscription for Libraries
**Job Overview**:
As a Marketing Executive specializing in Journal Subscriptions for Libraries, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to promote our journal subscriptions within library networks. Your role will involve creating targeted marketing strategies, building relationships with library stakeholders, and driving subscription growth. This position requires a blend of marketing expertise, customer relationship management, and industry knowledge.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential target audiences within the library sector.
- Analyze data to understand customer behavior, preferences, and needs.
2. **Campaign Planning and Execution**:
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans tailored to libraries, including online and offline channels.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
3. **Relationship Building**:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in libraries, including librarians, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to libraries, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
4. **Sales Support**:
- Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing collateral and support materials.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals for library pitches.
5. **Metrics and Reporting**:
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports to management.
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of subscription acquisition efforts.
6. **Product Knowledge**:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest journal releases, content updates, and industry trends.
- Conduct training sessions for library staff to enhance their understanding of our journal offerings.
7. **Feedback Loop**:
- Gather feedback from libraries to understand their needs and preferences, and communicate this information to the product development team.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the publishing or library sector.
- Strong understanding of library operations, procurement processes, and subscription models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
**Additional Information**:
- This role may require occasional travel to attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones when dealing with international libraries.
