**Job Title: Sales Executive - Government Sector (IT & Office Automation Products)**

**Experience Required**: Minimum 2-3 years in government sales
**Salary**: [18,000-30,000/-](can be rapidly increased if the person delivers excellent performance) + Travel Allowance + Incentives

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and approach government clients (departments, PSUs, institutions) for the promotion and sale of company products.
- Generate leads through direct visits, calls, and follow-ups; build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Present product portfolios (IT hardware, printers, copiers, office equipment, etc.) and suggest suitable solutions based on client requirements.
- Regularly visit clients and sites to understand needs, submit quotations, and close deals.
- Coordinate with the GEM operations team for bid submissions, negotiations, and order tracking.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with procurement protocols followed in the public sector.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report field activity to the sales manager.
- Stay informed about government procurement policies, tender updates, and upcoming requirements.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years in B2B sales, specifically targeting **government departments or public institutions**.
- **Domain Knowledge**: Familiarity with IT and office automation products; understanding of government procurement channels such as **GEM** is highly desirable.
- **Mobility**: Must own a **valid 2-wheeler** and a **valid driving license**.
- **Communication**: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- **Responsibility & Independence**: Should be self-driven, punctual, and capable of managing field sales independently.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of government tendering and e-procurement platforms.
- Basic understanding of GEM portal processes is a plus.
