**Roles & Responsibilities:

**1. Contract Drafting and Review**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including purchase agreements, lease agreements, construction contracts, and property management agreements.
- Ensure that contracts accurately reflect the intentions of the parties involved and comply with legal requirements.

**2. Due Diligence**:

- Conduct due diligence on properties involved in transactions, including title searches, zoning and land use investigations, and environmental assessments.
- Identify potential legal issues or risks associated with properties and propose strategies to mitigate them.

**3. Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay updated on laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the real estate industry.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing real estate transactions, including fair housing laws, landlord-tenant laws, and zoning regulations.

**4. Legal Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct legal research on various real estate matters and provide analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving legal disputes related to real estate transactions, including litigation support and alternative dispute resolution.

**5. Document Management**:

- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to real estate transactions, contracts, and legal matters.
- Develop and implement document management procedures to ensure efficient retrieval and storage of legal documents.

**6. Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as real estate agents, property managers, and finance teams to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve legal issues.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as needed, and manage relationships with external legal service providers.

**7. Risk Management**:

- Identify legal risks associated with real estate transactions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Advise management on legal risks and provide recommendations for risk management strategies.
