**The Opportunity**:
The Business Insights (MSS BI) function is responsible for providing a comprehensive suite of MI to a number of key consumers covering Operations, Front Office and regulators across all of the Markets & Securities Services Operations sites. In addition to supply of the information, the BI function provides value through insightful analysis and working with the business lines to ensure a forward looking Insights and data strategy is in place.

Business Insights led the implementation of the Manual Process Register, a central inventory of operations processes and controls that drives a number of decisions, such as retiring non-value add processes, implementation of digital solutions that transforms and re-engineers our processes, and enables better decision making and prioritization of investment that resolves high/very high risk issues.

One of the first value streams tackled was the assessment of all Manual Processes categorized as Internal Report. ~8k manual processes were identified and each record was assessed with a view of a) demise the report as no longer added value to the organization b) Suspend for 4 weeks and monitor c) Genuine reports that need to be kept.

The conclusion of the assessment suggested that ~5k manual processes were essential and were required. To help us independently assess those records Business Insights have agreed to extend the IBM Filenet technology across MSS Ops.

The role is based in Bangalore and specific responsibilities include;
- To promote the use of standardised tools, techniques and analysis methodologies across Operations.
- Ensure greater governance and quality around the all enhancements and projects
- The incumbent will need to work closely with Operations and IT functions to ensure successful delivery Key change and transformation Projects.
- Drive Continuous Improvements through simplification/Automation of existing processes
- Communicate effective deliveries and achievements to senior audience
- Add new reports to IBM Filenet as they are set up
- Delete reports from IBM Filenet as they demise
- Use data to drive analytical assessments of utilization across MSS Ops
- Regularly document and make recommendations to retire reports where there is limited or no utilization
- Share evidence with Executives and Functional Heads on recommendations and drive the demise manual processes where applicable.
- Ensure Qlik dashboard maintenance is supported and will own/drive the incremental changes with IT partners
- Support Head of Business Insights on analytical assessments across other Manual Process value streams

- Ensure controlled/Monitoring production of the FileNet reports/Analysis with in the remit.
- Developing solutions in line with Strategic deliverables and focussing the MI towards future state.
- Identify targets and deliverables across the short, medium and long term in line with the strategy and underlying principles
- Build strong relationships with the key business partners - at all levels of the organisation, actively manage these stakeholders, understand their requirements, be transparent with prioritisation and governance models and ensure a collaborative approach is taken.
- Timely & Accurate delivery of reports.
- Delivery of Transformation and continuous improvement projects with in stipulated time.
- Regular and structured engagement plans with GBI management team with clearly identified agendas
- In conjunction with development of strategy plans, implement the TOM, showing and demonstrating progress
- Stakeholder engagement plan, regular scheduled partner meetings with clearly identified agendas and action plans

- Take ownership of the work slate and work collaboratively with management to deliver
- Act as a role model both within the team and across operations
- Communicate concisely and effectively to management and direct reports (if any)
- Work with the GBI team globally and towards the TOM to deliver best practice.
- Own and maintain a current work slate, identify and manage key stakeholders
- Hold regular 121 sessions with management and run team discussions
- Mentor the team, act as support to the GSC and promote a culture of ‘one team’
