**Job Summary**:
The Medical Coder & Biller is responsible for translating healthcare services rendered into standardized codes and processing insurance claims for reimbursement. This role ensures accuracy in patient records and facilitates efficient billing processes to optimize revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
**Coding**:

- Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical services and procedures.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.

**Billing**:

- Prepare and submit insurance claims to various insurance carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Review and correct rejected or denied claims to ensure timely resubmission.
- Generate patient invoices and manage billing statements.

**Compliance**:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing regulations and changes.
- Ensure all coding and billing activities adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews.

**Data Entry and Management**:

- Enter coded information into Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.

**Communication**:

- Liaise with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and obtain additional patient information if necessary.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve any discrepancies.

**Reporting**:

- Generate reports on billing activities, outstanding claims, and collections.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve billing processes and financial performance.

**Certifications**:

- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent (required).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical coding and billing (preferred).
- Experience with EHR and billing software (preferred).

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
