Medical Biller

**RedValley,** the fast-growing company in **Colombia,** is looking for a talented, and strategic, **Medical Biller** to join one of our new healthcare divisions. **The Medical Biller’s** responsibilities include billing insurance and processing payments while communicating with various patients about their outstanding balance. **Medical billers** need to be knowledgeable about patient charts and medical codes to assess how much patients owe and how much their insurance is willing to cover. We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in medical billing and coding and has a passion for working with others.

**What you’ll do**:

- Accurately and timely submit medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures.
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure appropriate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Resolve billing issues with insurance companies and other payers.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resubmit claims as necessary.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and billing records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and other stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of changes in medical billing regulations and ensure compliance with these changes.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in medical billing is a must.
- If successful, you have the opportunity to develop into a supervisor for this department.
- Proficiency with insurance guidelines
- Proficient with medical billing software and electronic medical records (such as; eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Zelis, Epic, Meditech)

- Medical Billing experience

- Understand the prior authorization and insurance verification processes
- ICD10/HCPCS/Modifiers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Understanding of insurance and reimbursement procedures
- Knowledge of NY and NJ Insurance a plus
- Ability to work efficiently with few errors

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
